“It feels inevitable because it is pretty wasteful. A lot of the packaging in healthcare products is pretty wasteful, but through necessity because we have to keep everything sterile, whereas the caps seem recyclable. It serves its purpose for 20 seconds or so, then its job is done…As long as the product [cap] has not been contaminated, then it is easily recyclable. Much less wasteful I would say.“
