Ina Na, PhD

Ina grew up in Greater Vancouver and graduated from the University of British Columbia (UBC) with a BSc in Biology and a minor in Public Health and Society. She went on to join the Keeling Lab at UBC completing an accelerated MSc-to-PhD program while serving as a teaching assistant, conference coordinator, speaking at international conferences, and travelling to remote locations to conduct field research while concurrently building NeedleAID and completing entrepreneurial training under the guidance of seasoned business advisors with exiting experience at Innovation UBC (formerly entrepreneurship@UBC). Ina brings 10+ years of laboratory and healthcare experience including at the National Microbiology Laboratory, BC Centre for Disease Control, and National Research Council, as well as volunteering background in student services, healthcare, and leadership committees. Ina's broad skillset and experiences enable her to help others turn their ideas into reality.

Jamie Magrill, MSc, HonBSc

Jamie Magrill completed his MSc in Biomedical Science from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 2021 and an HonBSc from the University of British Columbia in 2018, with a focus on cancer and diabetes research, and is now completing a dual-doctorate MD-PhD at McGill University. With eight years of biomedical research experience, and six years of volunteer leadership in student services, healthcare, adaptive aquatics and STEM teaching and outreach, Jamie comes to the table with a wide variety of experiences and skills that enable him to empower and guide people and projects to achieve their best results; helping the people who help make the world a better place.

Anna Frumkin, MPP, BPharm, BSc

Anna Frumkin grew up in Israel and completed a Pharmacy dagree from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, a BSc at the Instituto Politécnico de Bragança, in Portugal, and a Masters of Public Policy at McGill University, focusing on health policy. She has four years of experience working in community pharmacies and at Ichilov Hospital as a Hospital Pharmacist and Clinic Administrator, and experience working in a research laboratory at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and McGill University.
